As one of the largest companies in the production and distribution of coated fabrics, specialty textile manufacturer Mehler Texnologies needs reliable solutions to ensure that its day-to-day business runs smoothly. The first step towards an efficient supply chain<\/b><\/p>\n

Previously, procurement and production across several locations was only carried out on the basis of rudimentary sales figures. The reason for this was the limited flexibility of system-intensive production steps and the limited support provided by IT systems. This resulted in high stock levels, as all decisions were only made on the basis of experience. <\/p>\n

The first step towards an efficient supply chain was therefore to reduce these safety stocks. This was successfully achieved with the help of a strict rethink of the supply chain organization and the use of DISKOVER APS software. As a result, stocks were not only sustainably reduced, but the planning effort was also reduced and delivery readiness improved. <\/p>\n
