Java developer (m|f|d)

Your new job

  • Conception, design and further development of our standard software solutions with Java
  • Interfacing our software with external systems
  • Software implementation for new customers and ongoing user support
  • Evaluation and implementation of new software components and technologies

Your know-how

  • Successfully completed studies in computer science or successfully completed training as MATSE or IT specialist in application development
  • Profound knowledge of the Java programming language (JEE, EJB, JPA + Hibernate)
  • Confident handling of common development tools (Eclipse, Git, Maven)
  • Experience in working with databases (especially Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server) as well as confident handling of SQL
  • Command of the German and English languages, both written and spoken

MATSE 

Want to learn theory AND practice?

Then why not become a MATSE!

As a dual study program, MATSE combines the degree program "Applied Mathematics and Computer Science" at the Fachhochschule Aachen with practical training as a mathematical-technical software developer (MATSE). The study program is a balanced combination of mathematics and computer science.
The dual connection to the apprenticeship ensures a high practical part with matching theory.

This results in the fact that

  • a trainee is a student at the same time
  • two degrees are achieved in 3 years
  • the training place guarantees the study place
  • the trainee's salary financially supports the period of study.

The training as MATSE with the study "Applied Mathematics and Computer Science" is a good start into the future as a practically oriented specialist in software development or as a research-oriented academic. That is why we also like to train MATSE and more...

There are also Master's programmes that build on your Bachelor's degree and we are happy to support you in this!

Working with us, you will gain practical experience in a highly qualified team, and you will always find a sympathetic ear if something doesn't go smoothly. You will be coached by trained MATSEs who know your curriculum, your lecturers and exams from their own experience.
